“Sport brings people together. Sexism drives them apart.”
Montpellier FC joins forces with Her Game Too France, an organisation dedicated to combating sexism and gender-based and sexual violence in sport.
This partnership reflects the values the club upholds every day: a football environment where everyone can enjoy their passion freely, without discrimination or fear.

Founded in 2023, Her Game Too France focuses on four key areas: raising awareness, educating, protecting and supporting victims. Its goal is to change attitudes and strengthen women’s place in sport, both on the pitch and in the stands.
Because these issues affect us all, Montpellier FC is committed to being part of this movement, convinced that clubs have a role to play in driving change. Challenging attitudes, encouraging respectful behaviour and creating spaces where everyone feels they belong: this is what the partnership aims to achieve in practice.
A Safe Zone initiative at every stadium
Following the launch of our first Safe Zone at the Stade de la Mosson on 19 September 2026, the initiative is now in place at all our matches, whether played at the Stade de la Mosson or the Stade Mama Ouattara in Grammont.
Her Game Too posters are displayed in the stands and throughout the stadium, allowing anyone to report an incident.
A designated Safe Zone meeting point is available inside the stadium, where a trained gender-based and sexual violence (GBSV) support representative is on hand to welcome, listen to and support anyone who needs assistance.
All practical information about the initiative is available on our social media channels, on your e-ticket sent by email, and in the communications shared by the club ahead of each match.
We need you
To help make this initiative a success on matchdays, we are looking for volunteers who are ready to get involved.
Trained by Her Game Too France, volunteers will help ensure that potential victims are heard, offer compassionate support and raise awareness among spectators on matchdays.
We are also looking for a Her Game Too ambassador to act as a key point of contact between female supporters and the club.
Present at every match, she will be a visible and approachable point of contact for anyone wishing to report an incident or seek support. She will also be able to assist victims with the reporting process, should they wish to take that step.
The ambassador will also receive training from Her Game Too France.
If you would like to get involved as a volunteer or become an ambassador, please contact us at communication@montpellierfc.com.
Football belongs to everyone. We’re committed to making that a reality.
